Reliable for bulk orders

This is my third time ordering from The IT Bay, and they're consistently good for larger purchases. I stocked up on Kingston memory modules and some StarTech cables this time. As usual, the bulk pricing was a big advantage compared to other suppliers. Everything arrived in good condition, well-packed, and on schedule, which is always a relief when you're dealing with a big order. My previous orders for HP toner cartridges and a Netgear router also went smoothly. They've become my go-to for office tech.

Got a Synology NAS

Needed a Synology NAS for my home media server. Found a decent deal here. It came in about a week. Set it up without issues. The website was easy enough to use. It just worked, which is all I really cared about.

Good price, slow delivery

I ordered a Crucial SSD for a client's desktop. The price was competitive, and the product was exactly as described. It took 5 days to reach Denver, which felt a bit long for a single item, even coming from the UK. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the tracking, so that was a plus. Overall a solid experience, but they could probably speed up shipping for smaller orders.

Great Jabra headset

I bought a Jabra headset for my home office setup and it's perfect! The sound quality is clear and it's super comfortable for long calls. Shipping was fast too. Definitely coming back for more tech! It was packaged really well.

Thinking of picking up a few Kingston memory modules for our servers. Are the products on The IT Bay brand new or do they also sell refurbished stuff?

C Cody K. 2 months ago
They do both actually. Most of their listings are new but they have a dedicated 'refurbished' section too. Just gotta check the specific product page.

I've bought new stuff from them but also snagged a great deal on a refurbished switch once. Always clearly marked if it's not new.

My company is looking at getting a bunch of Cisco switches. How do their prices compare to someone like Insight UK or BT Shop?

G Greg 2 months ago
From my experience, IT Bay can be pretty competitive, especially on volume orders. Always worth getting a quote from them.

They're usually in the same ballpark, but sometimes IT Bay will have better pricing on specific brands or if you're buying a lot. Worth checking all three.

Anyone know if The IT Bay offers a first-time customer discount? Looking to get a new Dell Latitude for work.

C Colin Patel 2 months ago
They usually have a first order discount, yeah. Sometimes you get a popup on the site or it's part of a newsletter signup offer.

I think I got a small percentage off when I first ordered a few years ago. Keep an eye out for a newsletter sign-up promo.

Hey, I'm looking at getting a new Synology NAS from here. Just wondering if these guys do next-day shipping to Boston, MA?

D Daisy Osei 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure they're UK based only. I don't think they ship internationally.

D David W. 1 month ago
Yeah, they're definitely a UK shop. I've ordered from them before for my office, but only ever had stuff sent within the UK. No US shipping from what I recall.

I need to buy like 20 HP toner cartridges for the office. Do they offer any kind of bulk discount or special pricing for larger orders?

N Noor 2 months ago
Definitely. They're big on B2B. Usually, the more you buy, the better the price gets automatically at checkout. Or you can set up a business account.

T Todd Carter 2 months ago
Yep, my company uses them for volume buys. They'll often just apply the discount right in the cart based on quantity without needing a code.

Can I use multiple discount codes at once on The IT Bay? Have a couple of things I want to buy and wondering if I can stack offers.

J Jared 2 months ago
Nah, usually only one code per order, like most online stores. But sometimes the bigger discounts get applied automatically for bulk buys.

R Raj K. 1 month ago
Pretty sure they're a one-coupon-at-a-time kind of deal. Most places are. The big savings often come from their clearance or refurbished sections anyway.

What's their return policy like for business orders? We might need to send back some APC UPS systems if they don't fit our setup.

D Dana Doyle 2 months ago
Their return policy for business orders can be a bit different than consumer stuff. I'd definitely check their terms, might be a restocking fee or specific timeframe.
3
M Marcus W. 2 months ago
Yeah, B2B returns are often more strict. I remember reading something about needing to contact them directly for business returns. Not as easy as just sending it back like a consumer product.

Is The IT Bay a legit place to buy a Microsoft Surface Pro from? Never heard of them before.

N Neil Osei 1 month ago
Yeah, they're legit. UK based and been around for a while, focus on business tech. Not like some random fly-by-night site.

R Raj 1 month ago
Totally legit. I've bought networking gear from them a few times. They're an authorized HPE partner too, so they're not selling dodgy stuff.
